Samsung Galaxy S3

Samsung has finally unwrapped their Next in the Galaxy series, the most hyped, the most talked about smartphone in many years, the whole new Samsung Galaxy S3. There have been many rumors circling around regarding the specifications of this ultimate gadget, the Next Galaxy. There were speculations about the design, display size as well for the whole new Samsung Galaxy S3, the successor to a very popular and award winning smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S2.

The hype was so big that even the competitors of Samsung like HTC and Sony have already launched their smartphones namely HTC One X and Sony Xperia S respectively as their answers to not yet launched Samsung’s Next Galaxy. It would certainly take some time to find out which of these smartphones will conquer the market in the coming years when there is still iPhone 5 rumors knocking the doors.
Samsung Galaxy S3 is finally launched
Now let us know more in detail about the exact specifications for Samsung Galaxy S3…

Design

There were rumors going around since the leak of the news about Samsung Galaxy S3 that the phone would be larger compared to its predecessor Samsung Galaxy S2 with four buttons layout instead of the popular Galaxy series 3-button layout. But the launch has silenced all the rumors and this Samsung has ditched its rectangular design instead and came up with a curvy design for the Samsung Galaxy S3 but haven’t altered the popular 3-button layout.  This curvy design is believed to be adapted from the Galaxy Nexus.
Besides the looks, the screen and casing on the S3 haven’t changed much compared to Samsung’s earlier and still successful products, Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note. Because of the curvy design and 3-button layout, the Menu button and the Back Keys are placed on the edges which sometimes look inconvenient such that you might find yourself accidentally triggering them without notice.

Screen

This cool and the most awaited gadget come with a whopping 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen display that offers 720p resolution. The screen size is pretty much in lines of user-friendliness, neither too bulky not too tiny. Some Galaxy lovers may be a bit disappointed with Super AMOLED only screen when Samsung Galaxy S2 featured with a Super AMOLED Plus screed display. Also there were rumors that the Galaxy S3 will offer 1020p resolution as various other smartphones in the same range does offer such large resolution. But still 720p is not at all bad; it is still a good feature for 4.8-inch display.
Finally Galaxy S3 is here!

Power

Also there were rumors picked up about Galaxy S3 equipped with quad-core processor which comes out to be true in fact. Though the rumors had announced the Galaxy S3 quad-core processor to be clocked at 1.8GHz which in reality at the time of launched was disclosed as 1.4GHz which is actually is not a bad deal either. Galaxy S3 equipped with quad-core processor clocking at 1.4GHz is very well capable of running high resolution videos as well as graphically demanding games. Experts questioned about the need of going for a quad-core processor but Samsung has played smart here with Galaxy S3 and made it ready for the future apps that would demand high processing speeds.

Camera

The rumors were that the Galaxy S3 would have 12MP camera whereas the fact is it comes with 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera which are not upgraded features when compared to Galaxy S2. Though the Galaxy S3 have not upgraded in terms of pixel count still it comes with some new add-on features including the zero shutter-lag trait screen found in Galaxy Nexus and a smart feature that automatically suggests your best shot after you have fired off a some continuous similar snaps on the basis of the factors like smile detection and face recognition features.
Lastly, The S3 comes with a removable 2,100mAh battery, and as well as 16, 32 or 64GB storage options has a MicroSD card slot.
